In the Heart of Michigan’s Sunrise Side

Baldwin Township is located between the green forests of the Huron National Forest and the blue waters of Lake Huron on the northeast side of Lower Michigan.

Our location blesses us with mild winters and cool, comfortable summers.  The Huron National Forest provides opportunities for hunting, camping, hiking, cross-country skiing and sight-seeing.  Lake Huron and Tawas Bay provide fishing, swimming, boating and miles of sandy beaches.  The Tawas Point State Park is one of the best State campgrounds around with several miles of beach and is one of the finest areas in the State for bird watching.  The Tawas Point Lighthouse, located in the State Park is a haven for lighthouse enthusiasts.

Please enjoy your visit to our Township and our website and return to see us as often as you can.
